We rolled the idea about getting a dog in front of us for a while ago… but around the end of last year we visited a West highland white terrier breeder and immediately fall in love. (If you like dogs but don’t want to buy one yet… NEVER EVER VISIT ANY BREEDER!! )  so she looked amazing, cute and was 8 weeks old.After talked a lot about dogs and westies next day we went for shopping dog stuffs and then picked her up and went home.

It was exciting because I never had a dog before and I have cats for around 20 years now and currently we have a 6 years old one too. He is cute but also a real cat and around five times heavier than the new member of our family.
The first minute was exactly that I expected… the cat (Pixie) never seen a dog before and vice versa so after a few seconds  of sniffing the cat became nervous and started to growl and hiss to the dog (Perdi). After a few weeks they started to like each other and also figured out something about the other’s communication. As you know dogs and cats communicates in a much different way so they can easily misunderstand each other. Perdi is now four months old and Pixie accepted her 95%. They still need to learn a lot but the first anger (well it was not really an anger but the cat was scared about the dog) turned into playing and curiosity.
So I’m a bit late with this blog post about animals and first was not even sure about writing it but hey this is a blog and also this little white snowball consumes all my free time and I’m taking photos only about her… it fits well in the photo blog
