Sokat gondolkoztam ezen a lépésen, de több okból végülis úgy döntöttem, hogy a blogon ezentúl magyarul fogok írni, ha van valami említésre méltó.
A legfőbb oka, hogy a bluehoursite-al, fotózással kapcsolatos dolgokat az új drupal rendszer óta helyben tudom publikálni, illetve a facebook csoportban is tudok kisebb híreket postolni.

A blogot lassan át fogom alakítani magyar nyelvűre, illetve pár hasznos dolgot innen át fogok emelni a bluehoursite-ra, szóval kicsit átszervezem a rendszert, ami az elmúlt év tapasztalatait figyelembe véve még sosem ártott a már poros és ütött-kopott dolgoknak.

Something new for the blog today. A flash based panorama of Budapest. We’re under 40cm snow and more coming. I hope you like it. You can zoom in a lot, the photo is really high resolution. This is the best panorama I took holding the camera in hand.

I cannot really remember this amount of snow in the last 10 years…  We have around 30-35cm how around here, today I took some photos of Perdi and the snow. She love playing in the snow but this amount was a bit too much for her and she was able to walk only on the cleaned areas. Of course she tried to jump into the big snow several times

I always liked Apple products and today I also curious and can’t wait to see the new stuffs but if the rumors are true about the new tablet (iPad or iTablet or iSlate, we will see) then I think this will be something I cannot imagine for myself… I have an iPhone already so I know how such device looks like and works…and I like it a lot. It is small and lightweight enough so I can carry it everywhere in my pocket. I think this won’t be possible with the iSlate/iTablet stuff. – Update below.

Finally we have good weather and also we decided to visit the Buda Castle in Budapest. The historical castle  first completed in 1265. Buda Castle is famous for its medieval, Baroque and 19th century houses and public buildings. Buda Castle is part of the Budapest World Heritage Site.

A few weeks ago I’ve bought a new pocket digital camera. After several days of thinking and looking on different test photos and reviews I decided to go with the new Panasonic DMC-TZ7 (it is called Panasonic DMC-ZS3 in the USA). I’m really satisfied with this toy, good picture quality, good price and materials in a pocket size camera for a good price.

In the following gallery I’ll show you some part of the Buda Castle with the TZ7, I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Well as an iPhone user I’ve upgraded iTunes to latest (8.2) version in order to make it compatible to the upcoming iPhone OS 3.0 update.
Everything went fine, until the first restart.
After Windows boot and log in it said I do not have any network connection. This was weird so I’ve checked all my cables and router and stuff… everything working fine, plugged in..etc. Ok did another reboot.

I’ve found a nice skin for WordPress today and just customized it a bit to fit my needs. I hope you’ll like it and you find using it more exciting than the previous one.
Also I’m working on bluhour.com in the background. I’d like to put online the 2.00 version soon with some major web2 improvements.

Thanks to the Kim Komando Show my little website bluhour.com has been awarded to the Cool Site of the Day! I had the idea about this website several months (maybe a year already, wow) ago and quickly registered the domain then put the whole idea on hold. I’ve started working on this project during fall and finally I’ve put it online in November. I have several ideas “on paper” and I hope I can finish them soon and also I got ideas from my visitors too (thanks) so I’ll introduce a phone version without the flash stuff soon and also working the idea on a photo contest thing so my visitors will be able to share their best photos to other users around the world. 

So thanks again to Kim Komando Show for this great start in 2009 and all of my visitors for using my little site

I’ve found a very interesting feature of google.org today. They’re logging the search keywords on google and building a statistics using the geographic locations of the areas in the United States about how many people are affected (or just interested) about the flu season. This is a very promising stuff and I really hope they will extend this to the whole planet and to other contagious diseases or subjects. It is really up to date, not like the statistics found in school-books for example. You can check this web site here. The most important feature is that using such service doctors can predict the areas affected by a virus or something and they can prepare flu shots or other vaccines before too many people get sick.
