One of the oldest towns in Hungary. Estabilished around 970. It is only a hour of driving from Budapest so really easy to get there. Of course there are other options like a nice train or bus. I’d recommend everyone who travelling to Hungary to visit this place. It is easy to spend a full day there, the center of the town is large enough to allow a lot of walking and also there are several good restaurants, pizzerias. There are also a lot of things to visit or to take amazing photographs. The old buildings, streets are a very nice subject to everyone.

My mom had a class reunion in a restaurant at Szentendre. She asked me to bring her back to home when the party is over so I thought it would be good to have a walk there and to take some photos too at the most prettier part of this place. We were there for a few hours only but this is just enough to survey this part.  It is a relatively small area, basically a street called Duna korzó with many sights and beautiful houses, restaurants and shops. In the end of May we looked around in Tihany. This is the most beautiful town around the lake in my opinion. The north shore of the lake is better for the photographer due to the higher altitudes of the land and the historical places.
